BI Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to meet the data analysis needs of various business units.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to understand business logic and transform it into structured visualizations.
  • Ensure stability and accuracy of existing Tableau reports, including regular data updates and anomaly monitoring.
  • Communicate regularly with business units to optimize report content and improve user experience.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user guides to support self-service analytics.
  • Assist the supervisor with ad-hoc data-related tasks, such as data extraction, urgent reporting needs, and support for special analysis projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Tableau, with a strong grasp of data visualization principles.
  • Proficient in SQL, capable of writing and optimizing queries independently.
  • Strong logical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into report designs.
  • Experience with ETL tools or other BI platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to supervisor-assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with data governance and access control within BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of data processing languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience in cross-functional projects with a focus on improving report utilization and business impact.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
