Job description:

MIS Staff involves managing and maintaining the hotel's data infrastructure to ensure the availability, accuracy, and security of information. The role includes supporting various departments with their data needs and helping the hotel make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIS Infrastructure Management: Managing and maintaining the hotel's MIS infrastructure. This includes installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting the hotel's information systems .

  • Data Management: Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security within the systems. This involves implementing and monitoring data management procedures and policies .

  • Report Generation: Developing and generating regular and ad-hoc reports for management and other departments .

  • System Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and resolving system issues to ensure smooth operations .

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with different departments to determine their data needs and system requirements .

  • Training and Support: Providing training and support to users on MIS applications .

  • Hardware and Software Management: Managing hardware maintenance, software support, network and remote backups, upgrades, and internet support .

  • Network and Database Management: Creating and maintaining the network and databases for the company. Ensuring stable operation of the network and databases by consistently scheduling and implementing updates and functionality tests .

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of networking systems, such as LAN and WAN. Knowledge of data analysis, data mining, and coding. Experience with database management and data analysis tools .

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities .

  • Organizational Skills: Organized with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines .

  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software .

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is typically required .

  • Proven experience in managing MIS or similar systems is essential .

  • At least five years of MIS experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role, may be required for higher-level positions .

  • Knowledgeable in OPERA is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
