A hotel supervisor manages the daily operations of a hotel, including staff, reservations, and customer service. They are responsible for ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly and that guests have a memorable stay.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff - Recruit, train, and supervise staff, and set schedules.
  • Manage operations - Oversee daily operations, including reservations, room assignments, and accommodation procedures.
  • Provide customer service - Address guest concerns and complaints, and ensure that all rooms and public areas are kept to a high standard .
  • Monitor budget - Monitor the hotel's budget, including financial planning and profit and loss management .
  • Collaborate with marketing - Work with the marketing team to increase hotel bookings and customer satisfaction .
  • Coordinate with departments - Coordinate with various departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to maintain service standards.
