About the role

As a full-time Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the equipment and machinery that power our oil and gas operations. What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, valves, and engines
  2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our assets
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  4. Maintaining detailed records and reports of all maintenance and repair activities
  5. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry
  2. Strong mechanical and technical skills, with a deep understanding of how to maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  7. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
