Aviation Technician

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for the support of aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment during daily operation (for Avionics Technician)

Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft mechanical work during daily operation (for Airframe Technician)

Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.

Set up and operate ground support and test equipment.

Ensure all maintenance tasks assigned are carried out in a timely manner and under appropriate procedure.

Liaise with those departments necessary to complete the tasks.

Document work performed on the aircraft into the computerized system.

Ensure the working area always maintains neat and tidy condition.

Maintain good team collaborate.

10.  Ensure all time bookings are accurate.

11.  Assist Maintenance Supervisor, and support Quality Assurance to investigate and report on aircraft incidents and raise safety report as required.

12.  Raise safety reports on any deficiencies which may have an adverse effect on airworthiness and serviceability of tools / equipment found.

13.  Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance

Key Performance Indicator

·       Proficient in both oral & written English

Job Specifications

Education:

·     Diploma or above in Engineering or relevant disciplines

·     CAAP license (A&P or AMS)

Experience

·       Minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Specific Competencies, Skills and Knowledge

·     Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings (for avionics technician)

·     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·     Working knowledge of inspection procedures and use of tools

·     Basic PC skills

·     No 9 to 5 mentality

·     Mindset for delivering excellency in a safe way
