Role Overview

We are seeking an Avaya Telephony Engineer who will support and optimize our voice infrastructure. The role involves designing, updating, and maintaining call platform components while working closely with business teams to translate communication needs into effective system configurations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and enhance Avaya voice solutions, including call routing, dialer settings, and voice recording platforms.
  • Review business requirements and convert them into technical actions, including creating new configurations or adjusting existing setups.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with external service partners responsible for the main system administration while handling configuration updates directly as needed.
  • Provide reliable support during the initial onboarding phase and maintain consistent capacity throughout the contract.
  • Ensure system performance, troubleshoot issues, and document implemented changes.

Required Skills
  • Strong background in Avaya-based telephony technologies.
  • Solid understanding of voice system functions such as call handling, recording, routing, and dialer operations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business leaders and technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise voice systems.
