About the role

We are seeking experienced CISCO IP Telephony Professionals to join our innovative technology consulting firm, AVENSYS CONSULTING INC.'. This contract position will be based in Metro Manila, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge communication solutions for our diverse client base.

About the Roles

We are hiring Enterprise IP Telephony Experts across two levels:

CL7–CL8: Senior Engineers

CL9–CL10: Senior SMEs / Technical Leaders with Application

What You'll Do

Across both levels, you will work on:

Core Telephony & UC Responsibilities

Design, manage, and optimize large-scale VoIP systems

Work with SIP, RTP, H.323, Cisco CUCM, SBCs, media servers & gateways

Lead telephony QoS optimization, redundancy, and disaster recovery

Resolve complex integration failures and system outages

Implement advanced telephony security (encryption, fraud prevention, threat mitigation)

Build and maintain global dial plans and call routing

Oversee large-scale monitoring, reporting, and continuous performance tuning

Manage enterprise-level incident, service request, and change management

Maintain documentation aligned with compliance and industry standards

Navigate and manage strong vendor partnerships

Additional Responsibilities (CL9–CL10)

For our senior SME level roles:

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Enterprise IP Telephony

Lead team performance and guide technical decision-making

Build, design, and configure applications supporting telephony environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive architecture decisions

Provide solutions across multiple teams, not just your own

Mentor engineers and promote knowledge-sharing

Participate in code reviews and ensure development best practices

Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of enhancements

What You Bring

Must-Have Skills (Both Levels)

Expert proficiency in Enterprise IP Telephony & Cisco Call Manager / CUCM

Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and telephony integrations

Experience resolving complex telephony issues

Ability to design scalable and secure voice solutions

Experience with network-to-telephony integration

Experience Requirements

CL7–CL8: 10+ years of experience in IP Telephony

CL9–CL10: Minimum 3 years Enterprise IP Telephony + strong SME-level capability
