JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Design and develop products based on current market trends
  • Consistent monitoring of market changes, competitor prices and product demands
  • Works with the Product Development Manager in completing all necessary merchandising functions in sampling, selecting, sourcing, packaging of new products
  • Collaborate with Product Development Manager in ensuring all product production according to approved specification of client, and delivery timelines.
  • Initiate communication with suppliers to seek information for new products for development in terms of approved specifications of client
  • Responsible in ensuring samples are received and distributed to client according to schedule

PRODUCT SOURCING

  • Source new products from existing or alternative suppliers
  • Source marketable, quality and unique products at the least cost
  • Contract negotiation with suppliers based on company requirements in relation to quality, quantity and delivery
  • Conceptualization of new products

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Regular submission of product concepts to client
  • Do quality product presentation according to the requirements of the clients
  • Coordinate, review, edit and design according to Client's requests or needs
  • Do charting and monitoring of projects, from development to deliveries in coordination with other business units
  • Responsible in the accreditation of the company to prospective clients, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness of data

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

  • Establish and maintain good relationship with vendors and suppliers
  • Contract negotiation with suppliers based on company requirements in relation to quality, quantity and delivery
  • Do monitoring of shipment quantity including payment balance, if any to suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communication or other related fields
  • at least 2 years of experience with media work and Digital Marketing
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Canva
  • Ability to effectively identify and execute ongoing trends within the target demographic
  • Must have experience with retail industry
