Overview This key position acts as the 2nd in command to the Store Manager and will assume the duties and responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence. The role involves overseeing daily store operations to ensure they run smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities include motivating the team, managing store resources, undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, cash management, and developing store strategies.

A critical aspect of this role is ensuring sales targets are achieved and operational efficiencies are maintained. This position reports directly to the Store Manager. Functions (Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to): Assist with training and developing store staff Complete necessary paperwork for operations Handle complaints and resolve disputes from customers and staff Monitor financial statements and the store's budget Assist in planning promotional events Provide daily direction and communication to staff to ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and knowledgeably Recommend process improvements Suggest methods to enhance operations Provide regular performance feedback and mentoring to team members Support employees facing work or personal issues through coaching, counseling, and problem-solving Address disciplinary and performance issues following company policies Employment Standards Strong leadership and coaching skills Passion for excellence Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop people Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and group presentations Influencing and negotiation skills Understanding of profit and loss accounting Team-oriented with a focus on team success and individual performance Results-driven, process-oriented, solution-focused, and capable of sound decision-making Availability to work during weekends and holidays Strong customer traffic management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment Ability to stand for extended periods Job Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration and Management; a Master's degree is an advantage Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the telecommunications industry Proficient knowledge of retail trade (food or non-food), sales, distribution, and business development within the local telecom industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
