He is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of BMS projects, ensuring the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of BMS systems are executed efficiently and to the highest technical standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities to manage complex BMS projects, guide technical teams, and collaborate with other departments to meet client requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Review project requirements and provide technical recommendations.
  • Ensure that technical solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Participate in the design phase of BMS projects, including system architecture and component selection.
  • Review and approve technical designs and plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers to create project timelines and resource plans.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve technical issues during project implementation.
  • Provide technical support to field technicians and engineers.
  • Analyze system performance data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure that technical solutions meet quality standards.
  • Conduct technical reviews and audits to identify and address any deficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in BMS technology.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for technical staff.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing technical questions and concerns.
  • Participate in client meetings to present technical solutions and provide updates on project progress.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to understand client requirements and provide technical input during the sales process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical processes and efficiency.
  • Collect feedback from project teams and clients to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Ensure that technical documentation, including system diagrams, manuals, and specifications, is accurate and up to date.
  • Review technical documentation created by team members for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain a library of technical resources and documentation for reference.
  • Performs related tasks as requested
