Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Human Resources, or related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, at least 5 years in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Background in technical training design, competency frameworks, and learning systems implementation.
  • Excellent project management, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards, quality systems, and engineering best practices.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the company's technical learning and development strategy aligned with business and project goals.
  • Identify technical competencies and conduct regular training needs analyses in collaboration with Business Unit Heads and Project Managers.
  • Design, develop, and manage technical training programs covering core construction disciplines, engineering practices, project management, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external training providers to ensure learning content meets industry and organizational standards and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain competency frameworks, training matrices, and evaluation systems for all technical positions.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and compliance objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and updated training records and reports in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with industry associations and certification bodies to benchmark and enhance learning initiatives.
