Job Summary:

  • The Mandarin-English Translator/Interpreter plays a vital role in enabling clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking individuals.
  • This position involves both written translation and live interpretation across various business functions, including meetings, documentation, and client interactions.
  • The ideal candidate ensures that all exchanges maintain linguistic precision and cultural relevance to support seamless collaboration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate documents and communications between Mandarin and English with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Schedule meetings and events, and take detailed minutes or notes.
  • Manage phone calls, emails and letters professionally.
  • Perform general clerical duties including document preparation and filing
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a high school diploma; Bachelor's degree will be a plus.
  • Filipino or Filipino-Chinese who is proficient in speaking Mandarin & English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least 1 year experience in administrative work
  • Ability to translate documents in English and Mandarin
  • Able to operate computer/MS Office and able to adapt to new technology in work.
  • Must be willing to work on shifting schedule and to work even on holidays.
