Collection Senior Manager/VP

Job responsibility:

  • Manage daily collection operations and all related activities for internal team and coordinating with the external debt collection agencies
  • Provide direction and training to staffs/agents to ensure ongoing effectiveness in the department's operation and recovery efforts to mitigate loss.
  • Manage team's performance, capacity plan and create strategy to ensure collection team meet target and able to identify areas of improvement
  • Implement resolutions when facing issues/complaints and escalation to leader or related area for further investigation in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements for debt collections, and internal control procedures.
  • Budgeting and the management of collection expenses.
  • Assist with specialized project and UAT
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
  • 5+ years of experience in retail lending collection from Financial Services industry
  • Strong team player mindset by collaborating with other departments
  • Agile, self-motivated, well organized and energetic in driving change
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills
