
Billing Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices, billing statements, and other related documents accurately and on time.
- Verify billing information, including contracts, purchase orders, and account details.
- Record and maintain billing transactions in the accounting system.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Respond to billing inquiries from clients, customers, or internal departments.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular billing reports to management.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, or finance-related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
