This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 4 PM

Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Standard Time

Scope:
  • 20 hours per week

  • Schedule: 12 PM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Australian Eastern Standard Time zone

  • Primary focus on bookkeeping (70%) with administrative support (30%)

  • Direct reporting to business owner

  • Minimal direct client interaction required

  • Remote work arrangement with access to company systems

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile all invoices and financial transactions in Xero accounting software

  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Xero accounting system

  • Handle general email correspondence and communication

  • Set up accounts on various platforms as needed

  • Organize and support day-to-day business operations

  • Assist with scheduling and calendar management

  • Provide occasional client communication support when required

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Xero accounting software and financial reconciliation processes
  • Strong bookkeeping skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and email management systems
  • Administrative experience supporting business operations in a professional environment
  • Excellent written communication skills for email correspondence and client interactions
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with account setup and platform management across various business systems
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote work environment with minimal supervision
