Manual QA Analyst

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. QA Process & Testing Execution


• Adhere to SDLC and CMMI quality standards.

• Apply appropriate test design techniques for Test Case creation.

• Prepare test plans, estimates, Test Cases, Test Scripts, RTM, and test data.

• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system tests.

• Identify, replicate, and report defects clearly and accurately.

• Validate defect fixes and certify new system functionalities.

• Prepare and submit Test Summary Reports or Acceptance Test Certificates.

• Participate in peer reviews of test documentation with Senior QA.

• Recommend improvements based on test results and findings.

• Ensure quality procedures are followed and contribute to process enhancements.

2. Administrative Tasks


• Maintain accurate records in ATLAS.

• Perform internal audits to validate adherence to CMMI processes.

• Prepare and submit required reports.

• Mentor and support Junior QA Analysts.

3. Teamwork & Collaboration


• Coordinate closely with developers, BAs, and support teams.

• Promote effective team communication and collaboration.

• Assist team members when needed to maintain service continuity.

4. Learning & Development


• Increase knowledge of business processes and IT systems.

• Stay updated on new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.

5. Other Duties


• Perform additional tasks as required to support the QA function and project success.

Job Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields.

• Proficient in writing test cases, test scripts, and functional documentation.

• Experienced in creating Master Test Plans.

• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, QA methodologies, SDLC (Waterfall & Agile).

• Familiar with QA tools, standards, and structured testing processes.

• Exposure to systems related to manufacturing, distribution, or financial operations is an advantage.

• Experience working in various development environments.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

• High commitment to organizational goals and values.

• Flexible with shifting schedules, extended hours, and travel when required.
