KEY RESULTS AREAS / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Quality Process Mastery

  2. Understand and comply with defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CMMI standards.

  3. Apply appropriate test design techniques for writing test cases and scripts.
  4. Collaborate with Manual and Senior Quality Analysts to create test plans, strategies, and effort estimations.
  5. Prepare and execute test cases and test data, identifying system behavior and accurately reporting uncovered defects.
  6. Perform system, integration, and regression testing based on project requirements.
  7. Conduct functional, application, and regression tests for software releases.
  8. Write clear defect reports, including root cause details and impact analysis.
  9. Prepare and submit Test Summary Reports and/or Acceptance Test Certificates.
  10. Participate in the continuous improvement of QA standards, documentation, and processes.

  11. Ensure all releases conform to functional and business requirements agreed upon with the client.

  12. Administrative Tasks

  13. Record activities and progress in the ATLAS system.

  14. Submit regular QA and project-related reports.

  15. Ensure compliance with CMMI procedures and internal audit requirements.

  16. Teamwork

  17. Collaborate closely with members of the development, QA, and project management teams.

  18. Promote a culture of teamwork and shared accountability in achieving project goals.

  19. Learning and Development

  20. Continuously expand knowledge on business processes, testing methodologies, and IT systems.

  21. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and QA best practices.

  22. Other Responsibilities

  23. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) — both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
  • Knowledge of QA testing tools, test design techniques, and QA standards.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Strong sense of commitment, teamwork, and adaptability.
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, extended hours, or travel to other sites as required.
