About project:

We are looking for a Manual QA for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Manual QA, you will be understanding and adhering to the defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CMMI standards, ensuring compliance with organizational quality benchmarks;
• You will be evaluating and applying various testing approaches, selecting the most effective methodologies for the project at hand;
• You will be creating test effort estimations for projects ranging from small to large in scale, ensuring that testing resources align with project requirements;
• You will be developing comprehensive test strategies and plans, including the creation of a Master Test Plan, to guide the testing process and ensure thorough coverage;
• You will be reviewing test cases and scripts created by team members, ensuring they meet project and quality standards;
• You will be writing detailed test cases and scripts, creating test data, and developing a Requirement Traceability Matrix to map requirements to test cases;
• You will be testing and certifying software defect fixes and new functionality, ensuring that the software meets predefined requirements;
• You will be executing functional, application, and regression tests for software releases, ensuring system stability and reliability;
• You will be conducting audits to ensure compliance with CMMI procedures, contributing to quality assurance and process improvement;
• You will be preparing and submitting reports, summarizing testing activities, findings, and results for stakeholders;
• You will be collaborating with team members in application development and support to resolve issues and enhance the quality of deliverables;
• You will be mentoring and guiding junior QA team members, including Manual Quality Analyst I and II, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing, demonstrating extensive knowledge of manual testing practices and methodologies;
• Experience with testing in the E-commerce industry, ensuring familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of this sector;
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
• Experience in writing test cases and scripts, with a structured approach to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
• Proficiency in creating a Master Test Plan, guiding the testing process and aligning with project goals;
• Understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC models (both Waterfall and Agile), aligning testing processes with best practices;
• In-depth knowledge of QA testing tools, standards, and processes, supporting effective and organized testing activities;
• Experience in various system development environments, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in different technological contexts.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to business operations related to manufacturing, distribution, and financial sectors, providing a broader perspective on testing needs;
• Experience with testing in HCL, enhancing your capability to handle systems within this specific technology stack;
• Experience leading a QA team on small to medium-sized projects, showcasing leadership and coordination skills;
• ISTQB Testing Certificate, validating formal training and expertise in software testing principles and practices.

We offer:

• Salary for work amounting to 70,000 – 80,000 PHP;
