
Marketing Activations Executive

The Marketing Activations Manager/Executive is responsible for the seamless execution of trade and marketing activation programs across channels. This role ensures timely and cost-efficient program implementation, alignment with strategic objectives, and strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders. The position demands excellence in execution, budget discipline, and effective performance monitoring to drive brand visibility and sales growth at the point of purchase.
Program Activation
- Adapt key visuals (KVs) and materials for trade activations, including bundling items, tactical displays, and POS materials.
- Coordinate with Procurement for raw material sourcing, VAS for bundling services, and PME for in-store execution support (e.g., Line of Sight displays, promo calendar).
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for activation initiatives.
Program Execution
- Implement trade marketing programs in alignment with the overall Brand Sales Strategy.
- Ensure smooth rollout of activation plans across retail and distribution touchpoints.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Track and report on the status and performance of all marketing activations.
- Conduct post-activation evaluations to assess outcomes versus targets, including ROI and program effectiveness.
Budget Management & Financial Acumen
- Monitor actual expenses for all executed programs and ensure alignment with allocated budgets.
- Finalize trade spend reports and process accruals for all marketing activities.
- Understand and apply financial metrics such as CTS (Cost to Sales) for assessing activation efficiency.
Collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams such as Sales, Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
- Facilitate alignment and support for all activation programs, ensuring a unified approach in execution.
Process Compliance & Calendar Management
- Present quarterly marketing updates to relevant stakeholders per channel.
- Maintain and update a +6-month rolling national and channel-specific marketing calendar to ensure visibility and planning accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in trade or marketing activation roles, preferably in FMCG or retail industries.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in budget management and financial tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
