About the role

This is a full-time Finance Supervisor role at The Aurora Subic Hotel, located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales. As the Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the hotel, playing a key role in supporting the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist with the development and implementation of financial strategies and budgets
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team
