Human Resources (HR) Supervisor

The HR Supervisor is responsible for handling and overseeing end-to-end Human Resources operations. This role ensures effective manpower planning, labor law compliance, employee relations, timekeeping and payroll coordination, compensation and benefits administration, training support, and implementation of HR policies across plant operations. The HR Supervisor works closely with production leaders to support operational continuity and workforce stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and labor law compliance.
  • Assist in conducting investigations on employee complaints and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Support disciplinary and corrective action processes in coordination with HR leadership.
  • Monitor employee morale and recommend initiatives to address workplace concerns.

Employee Engagement and Activities

  • Plan, organize, and implement employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct surveys and feedback mechanisms to measure employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Collaborate with department heads to design activities that strengthen teamwork, culture, and employee retention.
  • Coordinate employee events such as team-building activities, town halls, CSR programs, and company celebrations.
  • Develop communication materials that promote HR initiatives and engagement activities.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training programs (safety, technical, compliance, soft skills).
  • Track training attendance and records.
  • Support probationary evaluations and skills development initiatives.

Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Supervise end-to-end recruitment for production, technical, and support roles.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and plant orientation of new hires.

Timekeeping & Payroll Coordination

  • Oversee attendance, shift schedules, overtime, undertime, and leave monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate payroll inputs for plant employees.
  • Validate attendance exceptions and resolve discrepancies.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer government-mandated and company benefits.
  • Process employee enrollments, updates, and claims (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO).
  • Monitor benefit utilization and compliance requirements.

Performance Management

  • Ensure timely probationary, regular, and annual performance evaluations.

HR Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and plant rules.
  • Assist in DOLE inspections, audits, and labor documentation.
  • Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.

HR Records & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee records (201 files, contracts, disciplinary records).
  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, attrition, attendance, compliance).
  • Support management with HR data and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration , or related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience as an HR Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Canva and video editing
