Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop, plan, and implement departmental goals and objectives to support overall business strategy.
- Policy & Process Management: Direct and organize HR procedures, evaluate current practices, and recommend improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor HR staff, providing guidance on complex issues and resolving employee concerns.
- Employee Relations: Advise administrators on compensation, classification, grievance procedures, and staffing needs. Investigate complaints and recommend solutions.
- Performance & Discipline: Partner with leaders to manage disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and corrective measures in collaboration with directors and legal services.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefit programs including health insurance, eligibility procedures, and annual enrollment.
- Organizational Support: Collaborate with managers and supervisors to address HR issues such as staffing, reorganization, policy interpretation, and employee engagement.
- Management Collaboration: Serve on the management team to provide input on HR strategies and organizational development.
- Other Duties: Perform additional functions as mandated by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in HR leadership or managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with leadership teams.
