ACCOUNTANT – SOFRA (Philippines)

SOFRA
is a family office present in the fields of real estate, hospitality, as well as culture and

tourism.

Its real estate branch is made up of small and medium-sized premises, totaling more than 32,000

m² of rental area, dealt to professionals.

Its subsidiary, the company Kléber Rossillon, makes the SOFRA group the second French private

player in the management of historical and cultural sites. To date, the company manages 12

exceptional sites such as the Château de Castelnaud or the Musée de Montmartre, which represent

2.5 M visits per year.

Its hotel activity includes 22 hotels classified 2, 3 and 4 stars as well as 3 restaurants, which the

group owns and manages directly.

To complete our accounting team, we are looking for an accountant on a permanent contract who

is fluent in English. This is a remote job based in the Philippines.

You will be part of the accounting department and will be in direct link with the board of directors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily checking of bank page and posting in Opera PMS
  • Reconcile any discrepancies in receipts and actively investigate to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare an accounts receivable aging schedule and monitor past-due accounts.
  • Ensure that accounts receivable ledgers per hotel are accurate and up to date.
  • Generate reports and statements for internal update of monitoring file.
  • Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Work collaboratively with hotel manager, accounts payable and other accounting staff to

ensure accuracy in finances.

Your Profile:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA). Preferably a Certified Public

Accountant (CPA).

  • Previous work experience in accounting and/or management control. Knowledge of Sage

and Yooz accounting software is a plus.

  • Experience working with a team.
  • Advanced English, basic French is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications (word, excel etc.)
  • Appetence for computing and reconciliation.
  • Autonomy, versatility and with willingness to learn.

Location and Schedule:

Work from home. 9:00am to 6:00pm Philippine Standard Time, Monday to Friday
