We specialize in economic strategies from a non-Eurocentric perspective, providing comprehensive tax education and resources to enhance the economic lives of underserved asset holders. Through competent financial services and educational training, BTC & Society delivers objective analyses on a wide range of issues — including tax, accounting, finance, assets, banking, cryptocurrency, and broader socio-economic matters.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Virtual Accountant based in Manila, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Virtual Accountant will manage financial and tax-related tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation. Responsibilities also include reconciling accounts, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves collaboration with a diverse team and providing hands-on support for financial decision-making.

Qualifications


• Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Tax Preparation skills


• Knowledge of Bookkeeping and Account Reconciliation processes


• Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Data Analysis tools


• Familiarity with Accounting Software and Systems


• Strong understanding of Compliance and Financial Regulations


• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• CPA, CFA, CFE, CISA, CMA, CIA, certifications is an advantage. Accounting, Economics, and Finance degree holders


• Must be willing to learn Black tax accounting, monetary economic theory, bank monetary practice, financial exclusionary
