Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our US team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for helping clients meet their financial goals. Applicants possessing more experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management for US clients

Handle month-end and year-end closings, including account reconciliations and adjustment entries to ensure financial accuracy

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyse annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) to comply with statutory reporting requirements

US Taxes:

Incorporate applicable US Federal and local taxes into bookkeeping processes to ensure the accurate preparation of tax returns in full compliance with US taxation laws.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to handle full set of accounts independently is a MUST

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related disciplines

Strong knowledge of US GAAP

Some exposure to US taxation preferred

Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and strong command of Microsoft Excel

Applicants holding professional accountancy certifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) will be considered for Assistant Accounting Manager position

Good English knowledge, both written and verbal
