Job role

General Accounting and Financial Reporting

  • Maintain and update manual books of accounts
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts
  • Supervise bookkeeping activities and filing of supporting documents
  • Check journal entries, vouchers, and checks for disbursements
  • Monitor account payables and inter-company account receivables
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Oversee the full accounts recievable cycle from invoicing to collection
  • Generate and maintain weekly AR reports and aging schedules
  • Monitor and analyze AR and AR-related accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure timely billing in line with contract arrangements
  • Follow up on collections through calls and emails and minimize delinquencies
  • Reconcile transactions and address disputes proactively
  • Propose improvements in the AR billing process and support policy refinement

Operational Support

  • Review reimbursements and liquidation reports for accuracy and policy compliance
  • Monitor and manage fixed asset records, tagging, and depreciation schedules
  • Monitor and prepare documents for company insurance policies and renewals
  • Assist with preparation of financial documents needed for compliance or management decisions
  • Other tasks that might be required from time to time

Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps and propose improvements to current accounting procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Accounting Software (Sage, Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc) is essential
  • Must be knowledgeable, as well as, willing to learn other Accounting related matters

  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, especially with experience in liaising is highly desirable.

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

  • Must be willing to work on-site (nearest landmark Ever Gotesco Commonwealth, Quezon City)
