Position Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies. This role supports both domestic and Singapore entities through diligent financial management, reconciliation, and reporting processes. The position also provides accounting support for audits, SEC filings, and cross-functional coordination with local and international teams.

  • Monday to Friday | 1 PM to 10 PM Manila Time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting information in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Perform daily cash management responsibilities, including the reconciliation of multiple Oracle bank accounts.
  • Manage monthly reconciliation and reporting of intercompany accounts between domestic and Singapore entities.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports, and financial analyses.
  • Manage and analyze Cumulative Translation Adjustment (CTA) for foreign currency gains and losses, coordinating with local accountants to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in general ledger account management and serve as a GL super user supporting subsidiary partners.
  • Provide timely and accurate accounting information to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements within assigned responsibilities.
  • Prepare and provide supporting documentation for SEC 10Q and 10K reporting.
  • Ensure accounting records and archives comply with company document retention policies.
  • Provide accounting guidance to other departments and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience working through statutory audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management modules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with local and international colleagues, including non-financial managers.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
