We are seeking a highly motivated former or current educator to serve as a Part-Time Commission-Based Educational Outreach Specialist. This role leverages your deep understanding of teaching and student needs to connect prospective clients (parents, students, or school administrators) with our educational programs and services. This is a purely commission-based opportunity with flexible hours, ideal for a professional seeking supplemental income tied directly to performance.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your duties will focus on business development and enrollment, using your teaching background as a powerful sales asset.
1. Consultation & Enrollment (The Commission Drivers)
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage prospective clients (e.g., reaching out to parents via community groups, networking with school staff, or managing online leads).
- Needs Assessment: Conduct initial, personalized consultations with parents or students to deeply understand their academic challenges and goals.
- Program Matching: Effectively present and recommend the educational service, course, or tutor that best fits the client's needs, using your pedagogical knowledge to explain the value.
- Enrollment Closure: Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth transition to the tutoring or program delivery team.
- Follow-up: Maintain a relationship with newly enrolled clients to encourage retention, which may lead to residual or recurring commission.
2. Content & Credibility (Leveraging Educator Status)
- Represent the company at local school events, career fairs, and community gatherings as a credible subject matter expert.
- Provide feedback to the curriculum team based on common client questions and market demand.
- Potentially create short, engaging content (blog posts, short videos) that showcases the program's educational value.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience ([2+ years]) as a teacher or tutor in [Specify Level/Subject, e.g., K-12 math, English as a Second Language] is highly preferred.
