Job Description

  • Assists the Tax and Compliance Manager in handling the Taxes and Compliance Team. Helps in establishing and implementing Taxes and Compliance Guidelines.

  • Ensures the team complies with company policies and procedures.

  • Reviews existing Taxes and Compliance and related processes and suggests improvements.

  • Ensures timely compliance to BIR, LGU, SEC and other concerned government agencies' requirements.

  • Ensures correctness of taxes withheld and remitted.

  • Ensures taxes and licenses are filed and paid on time.

  • Provides schedules/documents to external and government auditors in coordination with the Controller and the Finance Director.

  • Maintains a database of all taxes filed and paid by the Group.

  • Leads preparation schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns.

  • Provides the supporting schedules for annual audits.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.

  • At least 3 years' relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

  • Strong organization and project management skills.

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
