About the role

H & Co. International Logistics Corp.' is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Supervisor to join our team in our Pasay City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for our growing international logistics company.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Oversee the monthly accounting close process, including preparing comprehensive financial statements and analysing financial performance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures

  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems

  • Mentor and develop the accounting team to enhance their skills and capabilities

  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis

  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders

  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulations
