Job Description:

This role is responsible for the end-to-end process of intercompany accounting such as reviewing and resolving out of balance/intercompany reconciling items, reviewing and verifying intercompany charges and intercompany account settlement. Handling of complex locations and transactions. This position will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the timely completion of global intercompany reconciliation and related intercompany accounting activities

  • Execute intercompany accounting activities such as but not limited to Monitoring, Maintaining, Processing, Reconciling & Tracking of intercompany transactions in a timely and accurate manner

  • Investigate intercompany OOB and resolve differences

  • Confirmation of intercompany balances

  • Preparation of intercompany reconciliations, including aged analysis

  • Complete adjustments, accruals, and other types of journal entries in accordance with the financial standards and controls framework

  • Assist in the execution of specific controls within accounting processes and other general accounting activities

  • Help to maintain Intercompany Reconciliation file and Intercompany ledgers within NetSuite, providing accurate and consistent records of assets, liabilities, and transactions

  • Ensure compliance with tax accounting rules along with SOX where applicable

  • Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain & safeguard required documentation

Experience and Skills:

1. 3 years of relevant experience.

2. Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to collaborate with teams across multiple regions and time zones.

3. Excellent understanding of intercompany transactions. Intercompany reconciliation experience would be a plus.

4. Experience working with an ERP system, preferably NetSuite.

5. Actively manage workload and escalate inefficiencies and concerns to the accounting manager.

6. Achieve deadlines set by leadership and the business and proactively monitor and raise instances where deadlines cannot be met in a timely fashion

7. Ability to work with minimal oversight
