Survey and Mapping Supervisor

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is technically skilled in geodetic and engineering surveys, proficient in GIS and mapping tools, and has a background in the land acquisition processes of both private and public lands.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying, preferably in renewable energy or large-scale land development.
  • Proficient in GIS software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GE survey.
  • Knowledgeable in the processing of LiDAR point cloud data and utilization of LiDAR products such as Digital Elevation Models (DEM).
  • Preferably with a background in the automation of GIS processes using Python, Model Builder, or any similar platform.
  • Strong command of survey and mapping tools (e.g., GNSS systems, total stations, drones, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software).
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes for private and public lands.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct site visits as required.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and management skills.

Major responsibilities:

Surveying

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and validation of relocation, topographic, parcellary, and as-built surveys.
  • Conduct survey methodologies from reconnaissance to validation using survey equipment.
  • Ensure fieldwork complies with Philippine technical standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party survey contractors from mobilization to submission of deliverables.
  • Review and validate contractor outputs, including survey plans, control point reports, and survey plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate outputs.

Geospatial Data Processing

  • Gather relevant documents from key agency sources (DENR, LGU, NAMRIA, LRA) as needed.
  • Process and analyze survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GE Survey software.
  • Process point cloud data and produce outputs such as DEM and topographic plans.
  • Use GIS platforms to generate maps and survey plans.
  • Maintain an organized and updated geospatial database to monitor all spatial information on all project sites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide technical support to Land Acquisition, Permitting (ESH), Project Development and Engineering team during land validation, land acquisition, and design planning.
  • Assist in preparing geospatial data and maps required for stakeholder coordination and permitting documentation.
