Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ground Floor Matina IT Park Davao City

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in Davao City. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support management decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and accounting records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for financial documentation and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Use accounting software to record transactions; knowledge in Xero is a strong advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Xero experience is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
