About the role

As an Accountant at A.M. Dela Cruz General-Engineering Services', you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our growing company. This full-time position is based in Davao City, Davao del Sur, where you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and reporting duties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  2. Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to ensure the integrity of financial data
  3. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial information and support
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
  7. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic financial planning activities

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
  3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
  4. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations
  5. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
