About The Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial flows, managing day-to-day bookkeeping, and handling ledger and bank reconciliations. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records for various clients, requiring a keen eye for detail. This role also involves managing payroll and communicating financial information to team members with professionalism and strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities- Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger updates across multiple entities
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Close books promptly at the beginning of each month, ensuring timely and clean financial reporting.
  • Financial transaction management: Recording, monitoring and analyzing transactions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation: Verify information in an account to be accurate and complete in comparing the account balance to the individual transactions.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Prepare, track, process, and present accounts payable to clients on a weekly basis based on clients needs. Ensure rapid response time for pertinent client payments.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll in compliance with U.S. and company standards.
  • Multi-Entity Accounting: Manage approximately 10 sets of books and 15 bank accounts across the company's subsidiaries.

Competencies And Qualifications

  • Possess at least 2-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper
  • Demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong background in bookkeeping, accounts payable, reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Knowledgeable in U.S. accounting practices
  • Highly organized and meticulous, with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy in all tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to clearly and professionally explain complex financial information to clients and team members.
