Responsibilities

  • Act as team leader responsible for understanding the overall development process and ensuring adherence to the company's planning and Scrum framework.
  • Facilitate and lead all Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, refinement), while shielding the team from interruptions.
  • Ensure Scrum principles, practices, and guidelines are understood and followed by the team.
  • Lead teams during quarterly planning sessions and help determine milestone timelines.
  • Proactively resolve team impediments and assist in conflict resolution to foster collaboration.
  • Negotiate and communicate timelines, status, and risks to leadership.
  • Provide weekly team status reports.
  • Build strong, cohesive, and trust-based teams by fostering collaboration and resolving destructive conflicts.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices, while building and brokering relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Partner with management and teams to strengthen the organization's agile culture, promoting self-determination, entrepreneurship, and customer-focused thinking.
  • Assist teams and leaders in executing agile practices that drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master focused on software development (preferably in .NET).
  • Strong background in Agile methodology and familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and modern development practices.
  • Solid understanding of iterative development, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Proven leadership experience delivering successful outcomes in large-scale/complex software development projects.
  • Experience with distributed software development teams and products.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across teams and organizations.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in project planning, managing individual deadlines and goals, and tracking project metrics and dashboards.
  • Hands-on project management experience, directly driving outcomes beyond metrics reporting.
  • Strong risk management skills: early identification, mitigation planning, and communication.
  • Commitment to transparency and fostering trust within teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with excellent multitasking abilities and customer service orientation.
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Preference for Agile certifications (Scrum Master or Product Owner).
  • Self-starter with the ability to build strong rapport and trust across functional areas.
  • Quick learner of modern technologies and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.

Work Location: Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid, 4x minimum onsite per month

Work Schedule: Must be flexible between Mid-Night Shift

Contract: 12 months initial contract subject to extension / conversion to full-time/permanent role
