Inventory Management Officer

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager - Logistics, this key position is responsible for ensuring good administration of asset inventory and accountability. He/She is also tasked to guarantee support with maximum efficiency and reliable performance for the improvement of the General Services Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support for the management of inventories of purchased goods to meet the user requirement at the lowest possible cost without compromising its delivery and quality.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers, and end users on logistics requirements, including material qualification strategies to meet stakeholder's requirements.
- Takes ownership of assigned projects in accordance with the structured process and timescales to ensure efficient and effective attainment of targets.
- Manages the section's records and documents such as but no limited to periodic physical inventory of assets and its reconciliation, asset accountabilities, and other relevant reports to ensure proper organizing, filing, and accuracy in accordance with Procurement & Logistics policies and procedures.
- Implements related mechanisms and its improvement to safeguard assets and inventory stocks with completeness and accuracy.
- Ensures the implementation of proper disposal management to support the organization's goals and objectives in Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Develops insurance contract management monitoring for efficient and pro-active approached to have a timely renewal of property insurance.
- Validates accuracy of fixed asset record for regular filing of property insurance.
- Coaches and supports direct reports in any related tasks to ensure attainment of key performance indicators, improvement and enhancement of performance, and attainment of direct reports' professional goals.
- Supports the activities of the Logistics team, and ensures the related logistics support requirements are met to achieve the goal of the department and the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of at least 4-year course, preferably bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or any related field.
- At least 3 years solid experience in logistics management
- At least 1 year lead or related role experience in the same field
- 1 year or more of relevant and related experience in BPO industry is an advantage
