The
IT Solutions Delivery Head/ Manager
will oversee and lead the
design, development, and integration
of a technology ecosystem. The role will focus on building automated, reliable, and scalable environments that support continuous integration, deployment, and delivery of digital solutions. The role will support the technology requirements of Meralco's growing solar solutions business/ subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement the overall IT and digital strategy in alignment with the company's growth, operational, and regulatory goals.
  • Build a robust technology roadmap that supports scalability across different
    utilities and regional implementations
    .
  • Develop and lead a high-performing IT team, including software engineers, DevOps specialists, and system administrators.
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability within the IT organization.

2. Solutions Architecture & Integration

  • Oversee the
    integration layer and API management
    ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange.
  • Establish
    data governance
    and ensure compliance with both internal and external standards.

3. Digital Platform Development

  • Lead the design and deployment of a
    customer-facing digital platform
    that enables customer application, billing and payments, after-sales services requests.

4. DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Establish a
    DevOps practice
    for the continuous integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
  • Oversee the selection and management of
    cloud infrastructure providers
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ensure cost-effective and secure operations.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience.

5. Cybersecurity & IT Risk Management

  • Integrate
    IT security and data privacy
    into every stage of system design and operation.
  • Ensure compliance with the
    Data Privacy Act of 2012
  • Implement proactive cybersecurity measures such as access control, vulnerability scanning, and threat detection.
  • Develop and maintain
    business continuity
    and
    disaster recovery
    plans.

6. IT Operations & Vendor Management

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including network, systems, and application support.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables meet technical and service-level requirements.
  • Monitor and report IT performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • At least
    10 years of experience in IT
    , with
    5+ years in
    managing enterprise-scale or multi-system integration projects.
  • Strong background in
    solutions architecture, DevOps, cloud environments, and application lifecycle management
    .
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and external technology vendors.
  • Proficiency in
    DevOps tools and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of
    API design, cloud computing, and microservices architecture
    .
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
