Assistant Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor daily production activities, ensure equipment is functional, and maintain machines.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and enforce production standards to ensure deliverables meet company requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization: Organize workflows, delegate tasks, and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular audits.
  • Production Planning: Create and manage production schedules, ensuring they align with demand and production targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process to maintain continuous operations.
  • Reporting: Report on production progress, workflow data, and performance metrics to production management.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor material and supply flow, ensuring a positive and adequate supply chain for production. Monitor daily production activities, ensure equipment is functional, and maintain machines.

Qualifications

I. Must be a pharmacist / chemist / biologist / pharmacy technician with a least 1 year of practical experience in production of drug products;

II. Or an assistant pharmacist with at least 2 year of practical experience in production of drug products;

III. Have the experience and knowledge in the following: pharmaceutical processing, packaging and equipment, GMP, SOPs and leadership;

IV. With of good moral character;

V. Physically and mentally fit.
