Qualifications

  • A graduate of chemical analysis school or academy of Chemical Analysis, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy/Chemistry/ an Pharmacy Technology, or any Science related course.
  • With at least one (1) year of practical experience in production of drug products.
  • Should have knowledge in chemical analysis, GMP and SOPs.
  • With good moral character.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to Quality Control Supervisor.
  • Performs testing of starting material, in process and finished product in accordance with the approved written procedures.
  • Participate in stability testing as well as establishing expiry date of the finished product.
  • Maintains analytical records and test result.
  • Ensure retention and reference sample collection
  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions, indicator, test solution.
  • Responsible for the procurement and inventory of laboratory equipment, glassware, reagents and other laboratory supplies together with the laboratory supervisor.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory apparatus and equipment.
  • Accomplish certificate of analysis for finished product.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the working laboratory.
  • Take part and assist in the validation team.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
