Job Summary:

The Process Engineer is responsible in the development of new or enhancement of current processes and products. He or she is a key in driving innovation to the manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and productivity. Focuses in developing strategic project plans and conducts study for process improvement and innovation opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proposes, develops and leads strategies and plans for line process and product development aligned with the company's targets and customer requirements
  • Researches and analyzes internal processes, customer insights and strategic approach to identify opportunities for innovation and automation
  • Conducts regular review of current manufacturing activities and further studies output and cost efficiency
  • Manages process and product development team to provide guidance and direction to achieve project objectives
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of improvements and high quality output
  • Supports in achieving the targets of manufacturing's Key Performance Indicators
  • Engages in activities for new models or products as well as production support
  • Ensures continues improvement of day to day production processes

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related course
  • With more than three (3) years related work experience
  • Has background in manufacturing preferably in electronics or related industry
  • Has good supervisory, problem solving & decision making, organizational and communication skills
