We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Video Editor who specializes in creating engaging and high-quality content for YouTube. If you're passionate about storytelling through video, understand YouTube's unique requirements, and have a proven track record of producing videos that drive engagement, we want you on our team

Responsibilities:

  • Edit long-form videos (8-20 minutes) and YouTube Shorts to captivate audiences and optimize viewer retention.

  • Implement creative storytelling techniques, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance video content.

  • Optimize videos for YouTube, including pacing, visuals, subtitles, and sound design.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos align with the channel's vision and branding.

  • Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, audience preferences, and algorithm changes to create competitive content.

  • Incorporate feedback to consistently improve video quality and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos with a portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of YouTube's algorithm, including retention and click-through rates.

  • Experience with color grading, sound editing, and adding motion graphics.

  • Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of YouTube trends, audience engagement strategies, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing or editing for successful YouTube channels.

  • Knowledge of SEO and YouTube analytics.

  • Basic graphic design skills for creating thumbnails (a plus, but not required).
