We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our digital marketing team, specializing in producing engaging short-form content for various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current digital marketing trends and be proficient in editing software to create compelling visuals that captivate our target audience and drive engagement.

This role is on a remote work basis with the occasional office day within Metro Manila.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short-form content suitable for each social media platform, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Collaborate with the content creation team to conceptualize and execute video ideas that align with our marketing strategies and campaign goals.
  • Ensure all videos are on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Optimize video content for different platforms, considering aspects such as format specifications, audience preferences, and platform algorithms.
  • Add graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance the visual and auditory appeal of our videos.
  • Familiarity with AI generative tools is advantageous.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Keep active on the latest trends in video editing techniques, social media content, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Provide input on video performance metrics and contribute ideas for improving engagement and reach.
