Golden Acres Food Service Corporation is a growing company committed to excellence in operations and employee engagement. We are looking for a motivated HR Assistant to join our HR team and help ensure smooth administrative and HR operations across our head office and provincial sites.
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the HR Department, handling HR documentation, records, and day-to-day administrative tasks. This role also assists the HR Supervisor with various duties as needed to support HR operations and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR files
- Prepare HR documents such as employment certificates, clearances, and letters
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding (e.g., scheduling interviews, orientation)
- Support payroll and benefits administration by preparing attendance sheets and related documents
- Help coordinate training programs and HR activities
- Distribute uniforms, ID cards, and other employee materials
- Respond to basic HR inquiries and support employee needs
- Perform administrative tasks assigned by the HR Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, handle confidential information, and work proactively
