Junior Human Resources Officer

Job Summary

The Junior Human Resources Officer will support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This role will assist in recruitment, employee relations, HR documentation, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. The ideal candidate has hands-on HR experience in retail operations and is highly organized, people-oriented, and detail-focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR files accurately and confidentially
  • Support employee relations concerns and assist in handling disciplinary processes
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and payroll coordination
  • Help ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws and company HR policies
  • Coordinate training sessions, orientations, and HR-related activities
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports and administrative documentation as required
  • Coordinate with store managers and operations teams on HR-related matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Basic knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting recruitment and employee relations
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HRIS experience is an advantage
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
