About the RoleAs Influencer Marketing Associate, you'll bridge execution and strategy within Wand's creator program. Reporting to the Influencer Marketing Manager, you'll assess and secure high-fit creators, optimize campaign systems, and ensure creator content drives measurable results—including UGC assets for paid amplification.
This role requires independent judgment on creator partnerships, confident negotiation skills, and the ability to build scalable systems that reduce friction as the program grows.
What You'll DoCreator Assessment & Pipeline Development
- Lead creator sourcing and recommendations: identify high-fit creators across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch using multi-dimensional scoring (audience demographics, engagement quality, content authenticity, brand safety, and strategic campaign alignment)
- Develop and apply consistent evaluation frameworks that go beyond surface metrics to assess true creator-game fit
- Monitor gaming content trends and emerging creators to identify partnership opportunities
- Direct other team member(s) on pipeline research and data collection while owning the strategic assessment and prioritization
- Own all creator deal structures: determine deliverable scope, usage rights, timeline requirements, and propose rates using established frameworks
- Lead creator negotiations independently: scope deliverables, align on timelines, determine fair rates, negotiate usage rights, and close agreements
- Write compelling, personalized outreach that demonstrates understanding of the creator's content and audience
- Make strategic calls on deal terms and escalate only when exceptions to standard frameworks are needed
- Manage contract processes including redlines, approvals, and signature collection
- Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned creator partnerships, maintaining momentum from pitch through deliverable approval
- Own end-to-end campaign timelines: backward plan from launch dates, coordinate dependencies, identify risks, and escalate blockers proactively
- Align creator activations with key company moments (feature launches, game releases, seasonal campaigns)
- Generate tracking URLs, manage content review cycles, and ensure creators have clear posting guidelines
- Coordinate UTM tracking, asset collection, and performance reporting
- Set clear expectations for what data and insights you need from the team to make informed decisions
- Audit existing creator management systems (Airtable) and implement improvements that increase usability and data accuracy
- Build scalable templates, workflows, and documentation that reduce training time and execution friction
- Identify bottlenecks in approval processes, briefing cycles, and asset management; propose and implement solutions
- Track campaign budgets, process contracts and invoices, collect W-8/W-9 forms
- Maintain organized asset library with consistent naming conventions: briefs, contracts, usage rights documentation, raw files, and approved cutdowns
- Ensure anyone on the team can quickly locate what they need
- 2-3 years of influencer marketing experience (agency or brand side), preferably in gaming, tech, or consumer software
- Strong understanding of PC gaming landscape, culture, and content ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to assess creator fit across multiple strategic dimensions, not just follower counts
- Confident negotiator who can structure and close deals independently while maintaining positive creator relationships
- Systems thinker who spots inefficiencies and designs better workflows; builds processes that scale
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail; manages multiple concurrent campaigns without dropping threads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Native user of major social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok; Reddit is a bonus)
- Data-curious: uses performance metrics to inform creator selection and campaign iteration
- Proficient with AI-powered tools to streamline research, outreach, and reporting
- Independent problem-solver who identifies challenges and implements solutions without extensive hand-holding
- Collaborative teammate with strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset
- Up-to-date on platform trends, algorithm shifts, and short-form best practices across the creator economy
- Proficient with collaboration tools (Airtable/Notion, Google Drive, Slack) and comfortable learning new platforms
- Excellent pattern recognition: can identify what makes creators and content perform, then apply those insights systematically
