
Travel Desk Lead Coordinator

Job Description
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the travel desk.
- Coordinate and manage both domestic and international travel bookings (airline, hotel, ground transport).
- Ensure travel requests comply with company travel policies and budget guidelines.
- Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies to secure competitive rates and high-quality service.
- Handle visa applications, passport renewals, and other travel documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of travel expenses and prepare reports for management review.
- Resolve travel-related issues, delays, or emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Provide employees with guidance on travel policies, itineraries, and safety measures.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff within the travel desk team.
- Continuously assess and improve travel processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in corporate travel management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of airline booking systems, visa processes, and travel regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and travel management systems/tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
