Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agency Intern to join our team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience on how a travel agency works, learning about customer service, booking processes, and the operational aspects of a travel agency. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students looking to kickstart a career in travel and tourism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and other travel-related services
  • Support the reservations team by preparing quotes and itineraries for clients
  • Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Learn and utilize travel booking software and tools for handling reservations
  • Prepare and organize travel documents, such as confirmations, vouchers, and itineraries
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to gather rates and availability for travel packages
  • Conduct research on destinations, travel restrictions, and travel trends to support customer inquiries
  • Provide after-trip assistance and follow-up with clients to gather feedback

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong interest in travel and customer service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus

  • Develop skills in itinerary planning, destination research, and vendor communication
  • Understand the logistics involved in travel coordination
