Qualifications:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks for daily transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.

  • Assist External Accountants on tax filings and payments (VAT, Expanded Withholding, Final Withholding, Income Tax, etc.) and ensure timely submission to BIR.

  • Assist in payroll support and recording: reconciliations, government contribution filings (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  • Handle substantiation and liquidation of cash advances and reimbursements by validating liquidation reports submitted by the Finance Group, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal control policies before posting in the books

  • Prepare adjusting entries for unliquidated or disallowed expenses, and flag unusual patterns for Finance's follow-up.

  • Maintain fixed asset register, lapsing schedules, and tagging of assets. Conduct random and annual asset inventory.

  • Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for audit, liaising with external accountants (Cazla) and auditors.

  • Provide support in management reporting by ensuring proper reconciliation figures,

  • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related course.
  • CPA preferred with up to 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and taxation
  • Open to non-CPA candidates with at least 1–2 years of solid bookkeeping and tax compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation rules and BIR compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • High sense of integrity and accountability.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular hours, including overtime, when necessary to meet reporting and compliance deadlines.
