About the role

Join the dynamic finance team at global elite developers inc' as an Accounting Officer. In this full-time position based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial records and reporting processes of this leading real estate development company. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties that support the overall financial health and compliance of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, accruals and deferrals
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other reporting requirements
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to support all accounting transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial processes and controls
  • Support internal and external audits as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
